Sam Shure

Electronica / Indie Dance, Germany

Starting to play the Piano at the age of four, music has always been a big part of Sam Shure┬┤s life. As the child of an egyptian Jazz musician (Basem Darwish) he was strongly influenced by egyptian sufi music, oriental Jazz and traditional nubian folklore since childhood. His oriental roots combined with his passion for the piano and especially house music led him to electronic music production, where he nowadays creates a symbiosis of all three genres.

Sams debut Ep “Dumra” was signed in 2016 by no one less then Dirty Doering, the Labelboss of Katermukke and the sublabel Mukke. The title giving track “Dumra” received much attention and reached the Top five of the Beatport Progressivehouse charts. Following this success he was featured and released on Labels like Katermukke, Stil vor Talent, Bar 25 Music, Kontor recordings, Mukke and Ladies and Gentleman. As his sound reaches from emotional downtempo/electronica to groovy tech house his style is very diverse and unique but follows a continuous direction to the dancefloor.

When it comes to DJing, Sam Shure is playing with this diversity in a creative way, what allowed him to play at clubs like “Sisyphos”, “Kater Blau”, “Ipse” and many more and brought him his residency at the legendary “Bordel des arts” party at the “Wilde Renate” in Berlin. In addition he is gaining international attention and played Events in Tulum (Mexico) so as venues in Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Ankara (Turkey).
